Interesting video about what really drives performance … from Harvard Business Publishing. I like the question “how come so many people end up in the wrong jobs?”

Are you using a tablet? by 2015 Forrester expects 82 million US consumers – one-third of US online consumers – will be using a tablet.

How long have they been doing this event?
Michigan Emerging is the much-enhanced evolution of the Celebrate Michigan! event founded by Jan and Marshall Rice several years ago. This year, Jan and Marshall teamed with Arzika (a fast-growing, very talented experiential marketing company) and Michigan Emerging was born! The Founder of Arzika is Tracy-Ann Palmer; the CEO is her husband, Rob Palmer; and their team does wonderful work —– and have supported Jan and Marshall for many years (in other endeavors, too). Among Arzika’s other events is the 7 year old Midwest Technology Leaders, an annual gathering of technology visionaries and Midwest CFO Forum, which is going into its 3rd year in 2011. The partnership of these dynamic people is surely one of the reasons that Michigan Emerging was so successful in its inaugural year, under this brand name.
Whooops….I just realized that you were talking about the Maker Faire (which I think (?) was in ITS first year in 2010 —- unless I am mistaken?).
But it’s worth knowing about Arzika, the Palmers, Jan and Marshall, and Michigan Emerging anyway.
LOL.
The Maker Faire videos are a great example of creative forces in Michigan
